Our Bucerías real estate team is built around the idea that a real estate purchase in Mexico should feel informed, not overwhelming. Buyers and sellers need straight answers, good local referrals, and a guide who knows how each part of the process actually works on the ground.
Jim brings the perspective of a former Canadian brokerage owner combined with full-time life in Bucerias. That mix helps him translate local realities for clients who are excited about Mexico but do not want to learn by making expensive mistakes.
Our network is rooted in the Bay of Banderas. We work alongside notarios, lawyers, lenders, inspectors, closing coordinators, and service providers that help clients move from first call to closing with fewer surprises.

Angela complements that approach through strong communication, organization, marketing, and follow-through — helping keep clients informed and the process moving.

Jim brings more than 30 years of business experience spanning real estate, construction, and finance. A former Realtor and brokerage owner in Canada, he now lives full-time in Bucerías representing Canadian and American buyers throughout the Bay of Banderas.
His approach to real estate is practical, analytical, and goal-oriented. Rather than simply showing properties and promoting the positives, Jim helps clients evaluate each opportunity as a significant financial and lifestyle decision. That means understanding the market, identifying real value, recognizing potential risks, asking the right questions, and knowing where additional due diligence is warranted.
His construction and financial background also gives clients a broader perspective when assessing properties, costs, tradeoffs, and negotiations.
Jim’s role is not to convince someone to buy a property. It is to give them the information, local context, and experienced judgment they need to decide whether they should buy it — and, when the answer is yes, help them move forward with confidence.

Angela brings 15 years of experience as a real estate agent in Canada, along with a natural ability to connect with people and make the real estate process feel more personal and manageable.
While Jim leads property strategy, evaluation, negotiation, and the transaction itself, Angela’s strengths are communication, relationships, and follow-through. She helps keep clients informed, questions answered, details organized, and everyone involved in the transaction moving in the same direction.
Her real estate background means that communication comes with an understanding of the transaction — not simply customer service. She knows what matters to buyers and sellers, where uncertainty tends to arise, and when something needs attention.
Angela also leads marketing coordination, helping ensure properties and the Dream Big in Mexico brand are presented professionally and consistently.
Together, Jim and Angela bring two different strengths to the client experience: business-focused representation backed by experienced, personal communication.
